This last weekend we were in Blanding for Preston's baptism. It was a great weekend and so fun to spend time with family. We are so lucky to have such amazing family. Friday night everyone, except for me, stayed up until 2:30 in the morning discussing the next days events. Dave and I woke up early the next morning and went and ski toured in the Blue mountains. I was able to see the old ski hill there that Dave had skied years ago. The snow was pretty awful but it is always better to get out and climb and get a great workout than not. On the way down Dave said we should stay in the snowmobile tracks and at one point he got side tracked and ran off the road into the ditch along the side. I giggled as I cruised by and called out, "hey you might want to stay in the snowmobile track." I love that we can go have fun times in the out doors together.
When we got back we went to the church where Spencer was there with his family. It was a great meeting and Charles and Dave did awesome on their talks. Dave was more emotional than usual which was frustrating for him, but he's the only one that cares. I have never heard anyone complain about how emotional he gets, I think it's totally endearing.
Saturday night we all hung out and stayed up late again, eating brownies and ice cream and watching Ryann give a dance performance and seeing the boys wrestle and sword fight. The kids love having an audience!
I loved being able to spend time with my mom in law and sister in laws, Heather, Camie and Liz are such great friends, I wish we all lived on the same street and could see each other all the time!
