| Dave, Alex, Colby and I went and stayed at the Mill Creek Yurt to check
out what it's like to stay in a yurt and also see how the skiing was in
the canyon. I am grateful Alex sent this pictures on and wish mine were
better but our camera was on it's way out unfortunately. It was really
fun to reconnect with Colby because he has been on dialysis for so
long. He shared the story of a 27 year old girl in California being
inspired to donate a kidney that was a perfect match for him after two
other failed attempts at transplantation. He also recently found out
they are expecting a baby in about three months and will get to be a
first-time Dad. I love that we have such great friends to still enjoy
the outdoors with from our college years. I love having meetups where
we can continue our friendships and make more memories. |
