Gallop NM

Corbin is one of my cool nephews.  Dave and I recently headed South for him to do some coyote hunting outside Gallop, New Mexico and me to hang out with my cool brother and sister in law and their four great kids.  This little guy is only 8 years old and has been riding since he was three.  I still remember when he could ride a bicycle without any training wheels.  We visited him one day and he was riding in a parking lot nearby with his dads helmet on and riding gloves that hung about 6 inches over the handlebars with adult-sized goggles to top off the ensemble.  Once you helped him start he could pedal forever and in order to stop he would coast into the building and hit it head on because he was still trying to figure out the brakes, otherwise we would run along and grab him before he tipped over although that happened sometimes too.  Even when he has fallen down he always gets back on and keeps going.  It's cool how at such a young age he already has so much character and emotional maturity I think it shows in the way he rides.
