Monday was a good day! because....I got to go skiing with my college buddy Traci and her husband Christian and Dave was able to get the day off, so for the second time this season they were able to hook up and spend the day at Deer Valley, thank you again Traci and Christian for the free tickets, what a fun day. We were thinking it was going to be a good powder day with the storm moving in, but it must have all been blown off the mountain, it was an ice festival instead. At the end of the day Dave said he thought the conditions were fun, which is so Dave he's all into the surviving harsh conditions because he's tough 'n stuff, despite the weather which really wasn't that bad, it was fun to hang out with friends that are awesome skiers and so laid back. We only wish we lived closer and could do more stuff together. Traci and Christian, when you want a fun weekend in the Basin (we could 4-wheel, stay in a yurt...etc) come on out. It was fun to follow Christian who knows the mountain really well and with his help were able to find some fun snow. I'm so lucky to have Traci as a friend, she is one tough girl and is totally independent and comfortable in her skin. This is the girl that took off to Austria by herself on our post-college Europe trip then met up with us in Switzerland I think it was...plus she is all about living a healthy, whole life, she is one crazy cool girl

I'm so glad to see your still alive!! Just busy as always. I love all the pics and updates. The furniture you painted looks amazing. Oh, how I wish you lived closer...I miss you!!!
I think I know Traci. Did she go to school at SUU? Did she serve a mission, and is she friends with a Teresa Rice? She looks very familiar from my college days, and your description of her matches the same girl.
That's awesome that you were able to get Dave for a whole day. It looks like you had a great time!
Thats always fun to meet up with some old friends. Glad to see that you were able to get some skiing in, before the season is over.
Free tickets are always great! I was there the friday beofre and spent the whole day on tele skis. It seems that I am going full circle. Not sure I will ever ski anything but dynafits in the BC though.
I am sad that I can't come and visit you and Dave next weekend. I was really wanting to see your new house. After this trip to UT I can't travel anymore, but like you said, I am gald that you will come up in May. Have fun at Dan's wedding.
