Thanksgiving

This was a great year in Blanding, as always there was a large crowd and lots of late nights, I don't think any of the adults went to bed before midnight the whole weekend because it's always too much fun to reminisce and hear jokes and tell stories. After thanksgiving dinner all the girls got together at Betsy's art room at the school and had a craft/project night. On Friday we went hiking in a place I didn't even know existed called Natural Bridges National Park, it is so pretty a lot like arches or canyonlands I would think, we hiked to an arch with the little kids and I had to smile when I heard my brilliant sister-in-law, Liz, tell the little kids that all the kids who finished the hike by themselves got a piece of bubble gum at the top, luckily that promise was good for us big kids too.
After the hike we hung out and told more stories, then on Saturday Dave and I went four wheeling around Lake Powell for some nice "time away from the mayhem" not that we don't love all the nieces and nephews, but just nice to ride around alone. All in all it was such a fun weekend. We are so blessed with such an amazing family and always leave with a few more inside jokes and stories we continue to laugh about for weeks afterwards.

That looks so fun to go hiking on Thanksgiving! I should take advantage of the decent weather and get out there

It looks like you had a good time. I wish we would have been in Blanding. It would have been much more relaxing than being up north.
